Bill Howard of Beverly Cooperative Bank was named
2009 Beverly Rotary Club Distinguished Citizen of the Year
BEVERLY, MA – August 17, 2009 – Bill Howard, president of Beverly Cooperative Bank, was recently named by the Beverly Rotary Club as its Distinguished Citizen of the Year.
Mr. Howard says about the recognition, “The Beverly Rotary is a wonderful organization that provides financial and other assistance to area charitable and educational programs and I'm pleased to be associated with such a community-oriented organization.”
Well-known in the local business community, Mr. Howard has been an active member of the Beverly Rotary for 10 years. His community involvement also includes serving on the board of directors of the Beverly YMCA, Endicott College, Beverly Main Streets, North Shore Alliance and the Salem Chamber of Commerce.
